Pop Art Inspired by Roy Lichtenstein

For my school project, I had to create a pop art design. In that art movement a lot of artists were quite popular such as Andy Warhol, with his famous Campbell’s Soup Can; Richard Hamilton, a collage artist known from his 1956 collage, Just what is it that makes today’s homes so different, so appealing? and my favorite, Roy Lichtenstein, where he use his inspiration on comic strip like his famous works Whaam! and Drowning Girl. Like you see, I chose Roy’s inspiration for my project but with a twist of few elements. I used Gwen Stefani picture for this project since she has that aspect from the 50s glamour using bold colors, in this case red and yellow to pop the design, and adding some textures and seamless patterns I was pleased with the result.
