It’s Valentine Meaning… Chocolates!!

Oh it’s back that lovely month where the love is in the air. Yes, that special day even though everyday for me it is special but February 14th is a really big deal…for chocolate lovers! I am super fan of chocolate. But what I love the most is the special packaging of the product. Above I will mention couples of a good chocolate packaging.

Moonstruck

This lovely packaging caught my attention of the illustration and the typography. The bright, bold colors are perfect for this packaging. The responsible of this awesome design is Kate Forrester. You must check out her works at her website.  Ad this particular design was the winner for 1st place at the Dieline food and drink packaging awards in 2011.

Omnom

This project was really well designed combining a pastel color palette and animals figures with geometric elements. It was designed by André Úlfur Visage. Liked he said at the Dieline:

The illustrated characters were created out of inspiration from living and traveling in Iceland between 2007 and 2011. They are both real and mythical. The original drawings were developed for a personal project in 2009, and re-visited during the development of Omnom Packaging.

Nutella

And finally, the most desirable chocolate world wide, a redesign of Nutella. The design looks fun and very attractive. Using the color background, brown, the color palette for the rest of the design it really pops. I wish I could know who designed it but still no information from the designer.
